With the festive season fast approaching, we are here to give our top tips and inspiration for hosting this season. Hosting in your home should feel special and as stress-free as possible (yes, we know that sounds hard to imagine). If you’re planning your seasonal get-togethers, read below for some inspiration...

Design & styling

Take advantage of seasonal florals.  Anemones, Roses, Gladiolus, and Carnations are some of RHC’s top picks for stunning winter floral arrangements.

Stick to glass vases for your flowers — let the beautiful colours of your arrangement shine. Glass is also sleek and elevates any table elegantly.

Don’t overcomplicate your colour palette, stick with neutrals and add pops of vibrant seasonal colours (we are loving gold hues for the festive season).

Hosting Advice

Ask your guests ahead of time if they have any dietary restrictions that you should know about. You never want to be caught off guard and, of course, you want your guests to feel at ease.

You’ll be surprised at the number of dishes that can be made ahead of time. When planning the menu, consider each course and what you can prepare ahead of time so you can spend as much time as possible with your guests, rather than in the kitchen.

Our biggest piece of advice for hosting in your home is don’t forget to relax and enjoy!

RHC Recipe Idea

Fresh, high-quality ingredients are the key to any good party spread. Our team of chefs craft recipes which highlight peak seasonal produce. A recipe that our Head Tasting Chef, George, loves to cook is a whole roasted cauliflower to share for the table, covered in Parmesan béchamel and topped with crushed pistachios and almonds. It’s light, full of flavour and guaranteed to impress.
