THE IDEA
A Japanese inspired oasis in the breath-taking Great Hall at the Natural History Museum.
A tailor-made Asian menu of canapés, bowls and food stalls in celebration of a corporate client’s very significant anniversary with a 300 guest reception.
THE MAGIC
The evening began with a canapés and drinks reception with twists of wasabi, touches of sweet miso and flurries of Robata. All guests were then ushered through to The Great Hall to the sounds and visual spectacle of a Saki drum ceremony. The Hall was decked with stunning cherry blossom trees over head (with a little help from our wonderful production friends), as bowls of noddles, salmon teriyaki and Korean miso to name a few, were served. Food stalls adorned with sushi and sashimi, displayed over ice for guests to help themselves, along with a bonsai tree pudding stall decked with miniature puddings; think dark chocolate and star anise mousse or sake & champagne jellies.
