EXPERIENCE EVENTS BY RHC IN PHILADELPHIA: EXCEPTIONAL DINING AND EVENT CATERING UNVEILED
We’re thrilled to announce that we've expanded our event and restaurant business to Philadelphia! Partnering with the Marian Anderson Hall for the Performing Arts, Academy of Music, and Miller Theater, we are set to transform the city's culinary landscape.
We will operate all concessions and provide private event catering. This fall, we will also unveil a fresh look and an exciting new restaurant at the Marian Anderson Hall, with more plans brewing for their café!
The exceptional culinary journey began at the Great Stages Gala honouring the legendary Marian Anderson on June 8.
On June 8, 2024, Events by RHC had the honour of catering the 2024 Great Stages Gala, a night celebrating the legendary contralto and civil rights icon, Marian Anderson. This extraordinary event, held at Ensemble Arts in Philadelphia, marked a historic moment as the main concert hall, formerly known as the Kimmel Center, was officially rededicated as Marian Anderson Hall. Additionally, it was the first event hosted by Events by RHC at this prestigious venue.
Replacing the historic Academy Ball, the second annual Great Stages Gala continued the tradition of celebrating Philadelphia's vibrant cultural heritage. The evening commenced with a grand reception at the Academy of Music, where guests enjoyed an array of hors d’oeuvres, featuring passed canapés, bowls, and three lavish food stations—a 'chef's tasting station,' a gala chophouse station, and a Mediterranean grill station. As an extra touch, housemade Tastykakes were offered to guests for their walk to Marian Anderson Hall.
The highlight of the evening was the gala concert in the newly named Marian Anderson Hall, featuring the renowned Music and Artistic Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin with The Philadelphia Orchestra and special guests. This concert paid a beautiful tribute to Marian Anderson, celebrating her monumental legacy in music.
Post-concert festivities continued with a 'speakeasy' reception in the Perelman Theater, where guests were treated to a delightful assortment of desserts, including Marian Anderson's recipes for Chocolate Mousse and Dulce de Leche. This sweet finale perfectly encapsulated the evening's blend of elegance and homage.
Our debut event at Ensemble Arts was attended by 650 distinguished guests, and we are proud to have played a role in such a significant and memorable occasion.
Join us in celebrating this exciting new chapter, pairing exceptional performances with gourmet dining!
