Here are a few of our favourites:

Chaos Cooking

The complete mash-up of global flavours – like sashimi tostadas and tandoori spaghetti – which are breaking their moulds to create liberating, cross-pollinated dishes with style and substance. Keep a look out for new chaotic creations on restaurant menus this year.

Sustainable Weddings

As consumers are becoming increasingly more environmentally conscious and seeking ways to incorporate sustainable practices into wedding details we’re seeing lots more ‘thrifted’ decorations and crockery. To align, our chefs are choosing locally-sourced items to put on the menu, and couples are using recycled or upcycled wedding attire. Using locally sourced ingredients is something we prioritise here at RHC and are excited to see this become more popular.

Pantone’s Colour of the Year

Pantone’s colour of the year, Viva Magenta 18-1750, vibrates with vim and vigour. It descends from the red family and is expressive of a new signal of strength. Viva Magenta is brave and fearless, and promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration. This is an eye-catching pop of colour to add to any event!
